Engagement rates for influencers with over 5000 followers are averaging 3.5%. Those under the 5k mark have a far higher 9.6% engagement rate.
Brands who are able to target their audience with laser-focus are able to identify and approach influencers of a far ‘lesser’ level and gain greater traction through their far higher engagement levels.
These micro-influencers are also less likely to be represented by an agency, or have a fixed-rate-card for blogs and posts, meaning more flexibility for creating a bespoke arrangement with your business.
